Rhiana Maples threw a gem on Thursday for West Vigo, allowing zero runs, three hits and striking out 5.
The Lady Vikings racked up 12 hits on the day. Torie Buchanan, Avery Funk, Mary-Paige Mason, and Alex Barnaby all managed multiple hits for West Vigo. Barnaby was responsible for all 3 runs with a sac fly in the 1st, rbi double in the 3rd and a solo home run (11) in the fifth. The Lady Vikings await the winner of Northview/Brown County for the sectional 28 Championship.
