West Vigo Lady Vikings pick up their first win of the year against conference rival Greencastle 4-1. At number 1 singles, Kaitlyn Whitford outlasted her opponent Molly Ramey 6-7 (5), 3-0 retired. At number 2 singles, Ellie Easton handled the wind and her opponent, Gretchen Weliever, with a straight set victory 6-1, 6-2. At number 3 singles, Caitlyn Wyrick lost the first set 6-3, but took the second set 6-4 to push the match into a third set. Fighting the gusting wind and a back injury, Caitlyn lost a tough third set battle with Sarah Heithaus by the score of 10-7. At Number 1 doubles, the team of Savannah McCoy and Elaina Charters put together two great sets and defeated their opponents, Kaitlyn Dibble and Catherine Weeks 6-4, 6-2. The number two doubles team of Alyssa Butler and Lexea Hendricks played Fairth Hartmand and Allison Fajt. After dropping the first set 1-6, the duo rallied for to win the second set 7-5. Maintaining their momentum, Lexea and Alyssa pulled out the third set tie breaker 10-6.

In JV matches, the Lady Vikings came up a little short, losing 6-4.
