The Lady Vikings fell to Owen Valley and defeated South Vermilion in a 3 way meet Thursday night. The ladies are now 10-4 for the regular season. Leading the way was Morgan Weir winning the 400, 200 and 3rd in high jump. Shelby Joy took 1st in the 100 and 2nd in the 200.
The 4×8 relay team consisting of Chloee Hurst, Madelyn Brown, Brooke Stateler and Morgan Weir placed 1st and set a new school record. Jadelin Skelton took 2nd in the shot and 4th in the disc. Brown had 3 personal records for evening taking 2nd in the mile and 2 mile. Stateler took 4th in the mile and two mile. Kayla Ennis secured a 2nd place finish in the long jump and Julia Mackey 2nd in the pole vault. Other Vikings scoring was Sydney Dunkin in the 400(4th) and Parsons in the 100 hurdles (3rd) and Hurst in the 800 (2nd) and the Julia Ennis, Alexis Griffy, Abby Scott and Kayla Ennis in the 4×4 (2nd). The girls all continue to improve on their times and distance. Next meet is Tuesday at Sullivan.
