Meet Recap

The Viking boys team went in search of a little higher competition and therefore entered TH North’s Patriot Challenge in the 4-5(Larger School) Division. Only taking a handful of competitors needing a bigger challenge, the Vikings did quite well. Roach was also the overall 100 Champ; Noblitt and Kernstein went 1-2 in the 4-5 Long Jump; Noblitt was also 5th in the 100 finals. Voils was also 3rd in the 100 finals and 2nd in the high jump. Luke Bigger placed 5th in the Discus; Wayne Owen-6th in the Pole Vault, Brandon Rollings 4th in the Long Jump. Douglas Wilkins and Jacob Weir went 2-3 in the 110 Hurdles, then switched and went 2(Weir) and 8th(Wilkins) in the 300 Hurdles. Andy Beal was 2nd in the 400 and 9th in the High Jump. Briar Sollars- 15th- 400, Jacob Turner- 5th in the 1600 taking a sizable chunk of time off for his season best time. Jarret Scott 5th in the 800. Brady Page put the icing on the cake with a great 3200, knocking his time down to a 10:18 for the season and taking 2nd place. Although the Vikings didn’t take a full contingent and didn’t enter all events they still finished 2nd behind TH South in 4-5A Division. There were 12 teams competing at the Challenge
